Raquel Dutra

I was born in Brazil, where I learned to live inside my body through dance, piano and the arts. I trained in contemporary and postmodern dance, somatic work, piano and theater in Brazil and New York, and I have carried the same question ever since: how does this feel, and what is happening in your body?

I became a homeopath to work with the body the way the remedies do, one whole person at a time. I opened my practice in 2020 and have worked with hundreds of people. I make my own apothecary, homeopathic and herbal: remedies, tinctures and creams, and a beauty line. I am also a movement and embodiment researcher, and I paint.

I live in the Hudson Valley with my family. I have four children, and I homeschool them. I have learned from teachers all over the world, in homeopathy, dance and movement, from different places, lifestyles and ways of seeing the body. I love bringing all of it into the work.

Homeopathy was never only for when you are sick. It was for feeling alive.
